About the Academy

The Umm Salamah Academy, for Teaching Arabic Language and Islamic Sciences, was established in 2025 to teach the Arabic language to non-native speakers and to provide Islamic studies for Arabic-speaking communities in Western countries and across the globe. The academy was founded in response to the need for Muslims in Western countries to become more culturally aware and educated, while learning the Arabic language and Islamic sciences in a manner suited to their current realities. The academy aims to assist parents in raising a new generation with a clear and correct approach to Islamic faith and other sciences. It also strives to teach Arabic using modern educational curricula, with an emphasis on daily use of the language through conversation practice, writing, and reading exercises.

  • Our approach to teaching Arabic to non-native speakers is built on the concept of hearing, understanding, and speaking.
  • Contributing to the teaching and spreading of the Arabic language in Western countries using the latest educational methods.

Objectives

  •  Teaching Islamic sciences (creed and jurisprudence) exclusively in Arabic.
